Today, Microsoft officially announced their new entry-level server platform, Windows Server 2008 Foundation. The 64-bit only operating system built on Windows Server 2008 is targeted at small business with 15 or fewer users. Windows Server 2008 Foundation will allow small business customers to run business applications and databases, host websites, and provide basic server functionality such as file and print sharing and remote access.
