Two days ago, Microsoft announced the availability of the Bing App for iPhone and iPod touch. Users can download the free app from the App Store from their iPhones or from their computer using iTunes. Or, simply visit m.bing.com and you will be redirected to the app store.
The app offers many similar features to the Google app that has been out for quite some time. There is web and image search, maps, directions and more. Plus, you can do all of these using the built-in voice search capabilities. The mapping capabilities use Seadragon for smooth panning and zooming.
The home screen shows the Bing image of the day , complete with clickable hotspots to discover related trivia, just like the bing website.
